So something like
Warrior - Paladin - Holy Messanger
Knight - Crusader
Mage - Elementalist - something
Arcanist - something
Scout - Archer
- Rouge
Priest - Guy with stick
Something like that where it will branch off, I like that idea in all games. I like how rift does it and you can mix and match skills and stuff, really cool.
But I am not fond of the list being
Warrior
Mage
Scout
Priest
It is to generic, so why not go abit more creative and do something (a few have done) but simplify the starter classes and have them work up
Such as ragnorok starting from nooby to one of 4 options then so on and so forth. But isntead of starting at one class have 4 maybe 5 basic classes such as
Warrior = Wanderer
Mage = Apprentice
Scout = Vagrant (So he can become a thief or scout, or rangy guy... or that can be the fifth class, Dennis ((the minus haha... references)))
Priest = Guides (i couldn't think of anything)
But with those early levels they can learn the basic skill sets to become a mage or warrior. Gives a reason to why they have 0 skills when the player starts out. And gives them a 'goal' to work toward, to get that last class level of super ninja pirate angel warlord... idk got bored.
And we can have unloackable classes done by special events. Like ninja class or dragoon, or even warewolf (fighting) class. So players (like myself) who don't want to stay as a class like everyone else, can work toward becoming a special class.
Anywho I'm gonna stop ranting, I turned a simple idea of adding more classes to this... thing.
btw pardon my spelling it is like 3am here and abit tired.
The hell
No, no I like the idea, but i'm not sure if that's your idea the can go into a thread..I don't know what i'm saying.
