| Currently to run ever ember you don't have to have a special computer. Ever ember will work with windows 95-windows 7 and everything between. Mac and Linux clients have not been made yet so hopefully you have access to windows. the minimum system requirements is a working Dial up internet connection or better, 32MB ram or better, windows 95 or better, and most likely a Pentium II cpu or better, and direct x 7 or better. This is very flexible for people with low end systems.
Fix for common issues if EverEmber will not start.
1. Make sure you have installed the EverEmber library files!!! They are automatically installed with the windows installer for EverEmber but must be manually installed with the rar. If you are not sure if you have them RE INSTALL the library files from the Everember RAR file. This is normally the main issue why your game will not start.
2. Right click and run as administrator.
3. If on windows vista or 7 run under windows xp SP3 compatibility mode.
4. Install Microsoft direct X 9- Direct X 9
5. Insure you have your proper video card drivers installed.
6. If you start up the game and you get an error and you did all before this, for some reason if the game is in too many folders, it wont start up, take it out of one or 2 of the folders its in.
If non of these methods work please post a help topic in the bugs section.

| Direct X 9+ will be added to Service Pack 3 in Windows XP+ so it isn't necessary for you to download it all over again. If you feel that your DX version doesn't meet the required and would like to check it please go to 'Run' in Windows (Win+R) and the type 'DxDiag' With out the quotes. Your DX version will be shown in the System Tab at the end of the System Information Frame.
