Uncommon - Green
This means that you can find this item rarer than regular items, but its still not that hard to find
Rare - Blue
This item is tough to find and may take a while
Super Rare - Red
This item takes a very long time to get and not many people have it or can afford it.
Ultra Rare - Purple
Very Few people have it, it may take days to get.
Impossibly/Exceptionally Rare - Orangish
Almost no one has this item, rich people or very high levels have it.

White - common. Regular items
Yellow - magical. These items are more valuable and often have magical properties
Green - rare. These items hold significant value and power in the world of ember.
Blue - epic. The items of myths and tales, these items are exceedingly powerful and also extremely rare.
Orange - legendary. The most famous and powerful items of ember. Whispers and rumours are all that are known of these, until you discover one.
Seems more RPGish.
