I think this would be a Epic Feature.

Forge- Example Gem of Pyro - claws - Pyro Claws - Stats 50 str 20 Agi.

Upgrade- Upgrade Stone - Claws- Upgrade 1- claws Stats Boosted!

You mean something like Crafting it? The crafting system will be added in Beta not sure if the Upgrade will take place.
